Pittman 6000 Series Brush Motors
Pittman's 6000 Series (0.86" / 22 mm diameter) brush-commutated DC motors are low cost, high performance ideal for use in applications requiring the power of an "ironless core" or "coreless" motor, without the associated cost. This addition to our LO-COG® family is designed for use in image processing, semiconductor processing and mass data storage equipment, computer peripherals and office automation, as well as other applications for the medical and industrial markets.
By using a skewed 5-slot armature design and bonded neodymium iron boron magnets, this motor provides more power than most other DC motors of similar size. Cost effective planetary gearheads are available to meet application specific speed and torque requirements.
